These dried berries produce a natural surfactant which when tossed into a cloth bag and into the laundry delicately and thoroughly cleans fabrics, removing soil and odors. Hypoallergenic, fragrance free, and biodegradable, soap berries contain no synthetic ingredients and produce absolutely no harmful by-products which wash out into our rivers, seas and oceans. A 1 oz. bag of Soap Nuts can be re-used and will continue to effectively clean clothes for up to 7 washes.
